Tumblr is giving us a lot of different dashes but the thing is no one wants “for you” so what I propose instead is you give me the ability to make mini-dashes with specific subsets of people I follow. Let me follow 300 people but then sort them into category. Let me have one dash for all my aesthetic stuff, another for news, another for my weird feral friends. Am I the only one who wants this? Maybe. Give it to me anyway.
This would absolutely revolutionize the way I use Tumblr. I would probably spend like 20% more time on Tumblr if I could follow a bunch of people I like but who I do not want on my “these are my friends and idols” dash.
On the one hand, Dreamwidth has this. On the other hand, I don’t follow enough people on Dreamwidth to make good use of this, and I’m not sure the average Tumblrite would be able to do so either.
I would love to be able to follow specific fandom interests with my fandom specific side account; some days I have the spoons to go scrolling through that stuff, some days I really, really don’t. So I generally default to “don’t” entirely.
I apologize for not being active last days, I was busy with school stuff(I still cannot handle the fact that I am on my last year of high school)and this piece being detailed did not really help at all🦇
OK I’m back on my bloodborne hyperfixation and I was watching lore videos and came across this absolute epiphany of a video.
Go watch “Bloodborne Lore Extra: What Really Happened to Laurence” on YouTube.
This has completed shattered and rearranged my understanding of the bloodborne lore and this game is finally starting to make sense.
I was looking up Hippocrates because my mum asked what the Hippocratic oath was based on and I found out that he hailed from the Greek Island of Kos!
Looking on the Kos page I found a picture and article about an ancient building called an Odeon, like the Odeon Great One, which was a Greek building used for singing, music and poetry.
A lot of the information we have on the Great Ones talk about sound as being how you communicate with them and other dimensions, see the resonant bells and the choir.
